Admission to the 4-year B.Tech. course at GEC Lakhisarai through engineering entrance examination namely the Joint Entrance
Examination(JEE)-Main administered by the National Testing Agency(NTA). Student have to appear in Under Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling(UGEAC),
conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination(BCECE) board, in order to seek admission to the first year B.Tech. courses based on JEE merit-list.
